Dima “D’mitri” Slabyak, 2001 Guitar/ Bass/ Drums/ Trumpet Playing in the Taft Band was an experience all off its own...we were always the underdawgs, but every year, we kept on fighting! I think we did a great job at it. The band teacher and I didn’t see eye to eye on most things—maybe it’s because I stopped coming to practice—who knows???
